We take apprenticeship training very seriously. Around 250 young people are currently completing their training at the IGO-Ortner Group. To us, promoting personal and social skills is just as important as solely professional training. The training programme is continuously developed based on the actual requirements of the company.
So-called Welcome Days are organised in January with apprentices in their first year of training. The apprentices come together from all areas and all job profiles in Bad Aussee, get to know trainees from other areas and the business group as a whole, and thus gain a better overview of their employer. Seminars and workshops also start in the first year of training.
A Spring Campus and a Summer Campus are held each year. Here, apprentices and specialists come together both from the various companies as well as from all over Austria. Workshops organised in tandem are used to promote social skills. Furthermore, these regular events offer the unique opportunity to establish contacts across all over Austria on a large scale. Besides face-to-face interaction, professional dialogue automatically develops, ideas emerge, and mutual understanding is established among the different professional groups.
In an sophisticated mentoring programme, apprentices are also offered the chance to interact with experienced mentors from other companies. The participating apprentices have the chance to discover their strengths and improve their career prospects.
